Last message from Host Alan Duncan:
"We have a fairly large house and could handle 15-20 for buffet style lunch especially if the weather is good (not guaranteed!). Linlithgow is very well connected sitting between Edinburgh and Glasgow and we are a stone’s throw from the railway station. One thought is we could start with soup lunch and then go for a walk around the Loch- very scenic. [Or people can just sit and visit.]
If numbers get beyond our house capacity, St. John’s Church have various meeting rooms we could hire.
Then back for more social and then across to our local Indian Restaurant (Delhi’s Winter) for food in the early evening. It’s a two-minute walk away.
Then easy for many people to get home the same evening.
For those who want to make a weekend of it,
there is hostel accommodation managed by the local independent church here in Linlithgow (https://www.linlithgowhostel.org/)
If people want to book hostel rooms, they should do so soon.

We invite those in our tribe who worked in or grew up in Pakistan as "expats" and called Pakistan "home" for part of their life. Specifically, this includes expats in Pakistan who worked in missions, at MCS, MCS students and alumnae. If this describes you, we welcome you and your family.
If I have other questions, whom do I contact?

Please let me know if you are able to help "sponsor" (support) a certain expense or activity to help keep the costs low for others. We would be pleased to recognize your contribution.
We will provide updates and more specifics closer to the time.

Archways are the illustrative theme. These successive archways at the Tomb of Emperor Jehangir in Lahore are beautiful! Arches and archways are a tribal choice: we’ve all seen myriads of archways in the architecture and art of Pakistan, as well as the wider cultures of Islam and Christianity. Archways are also a symbolic choice. An archway can signify the opening of new perspectives. Spiritually, an arch can represent the covenant and divine protection of Almighty God. Archways are connectors. Arches are storytellers. We see a passageway of arches, like in the above photo, converging us to a place of common ground – our shared history, heritage, and love of Pakistan. In some cultures, passing through an archway symbolizes renewal – leaving the old behind to enter and embrace the new. For you, this reunion may be about leaving the past in Pakistan and embracing your current place. Maybe it’s simply being thankful for the rich heritage we share, as you stand in the archways between your past, present, and future. Or maybe it’s about remembering, appreciating, and re-engaging with Pakistan and connecting with our 'PK/MCS Tribe' in a different or new way, so you can more fully embrace and connect your past with your present. If none of these interpretations applies to you, please simply enjoy the photo.
