"Chai & Biscuits" is an interactive gathering and a safe place to share with one another our stories of childhood – the stories that are easy to share as well as those that are more difficult or painful. Stories shared will be met with grace and compassion. Any story is welcome here.
We are offering a monthly time when we can come together over Zoom and share stories of our common childhood heritage – stories of all kinds! Stories of sadness, joy, grief, humor, pain, irony – whatever, all are welcome.
We are offering a safe space and time for you to share with others who understand our shared heritage how that heritage has impacted our lives in ways big and small, positive and not-so-positive both then, when we were children, and now.
Our time together will be relaxed and informal. Come join us – ready to listen and share – with your own cup of chai and some biscuits!

WHO is invited to “Chai & Biscuits”?
It is open to all former MCS students, parents and staff worldwide. Parents of TCKs/MKs in Pakistan are also welcome.
WHY are we offering “Chai and Biscuits”? What is the purpose?
The “Chai and Biscuits” gathering offers (a) A safe, non-threatening, non-judgmental place to bring authentic, potentially painful, childhood stories of vulnerability and how those stories have affected our lives. A place where there is no need for defensiveness. (b) A listening ear, a compassionate heart, and a hand of friendship to those who choose to join. (c) Hope, acceptance and the realization that, although our stories are each unique, we share much in common and we are not alone. (d) A safe place to share our childhood stories and feel welcomed, heard and understood.
